"Bardou" founders James Kline and Mariusz Radwanski combine classical, baroque, renaissance, and folk styles.

James playes an 11-string arch guitar, which he designed based on ideas of arch guitar innovator Peter Blanchette. It combines the lutes and guitars from the 16th thru 18th centuries.

Mariusz plays a nyckelharpa, an instrument dating back to the 14th century. It is played with a violin-like bow and a set of keys which are pressed to change pitch.
